     Frank William Head was born in 1892 in Wonersh, Surrey, England.1 He was the son of Arthur Head and Eliza Worsfold. He was baptised on 1 January 1893 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, his father was a bricklayer.2 He was the son of Eliza Head in the 1901 census in Wonersh Common, Wonersh, Surrey, England.3 He was the son of Eliza Head in the 1911 census in Yieldhurst, Shamley Green, Surrey, England. Frank was an under gardener.4 Frank enlisted in September 1914 into The Queens and was subsequently transfered to the Royal Berks.5 The Surrey Advertiser of Saturday 28 July 1917 reported Frank's death following a report stating he was missing during July.5 He died on 19 July 1916 in France at the battle of Delville Wood while serving as a Lance Corporal, 6th Battalion, Princess Charlotte ofWales’s (Royal Berkshire Regiment), 53 Brigade, 18th Division. Army no. 25236.
He was formerly with the Army Cyclists Corps. Army no. 1073.6 He also appears on plaque in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England. He was buried in Thiepval, France, He is remembered on pier and face 11 D of the Thiepval Memorial.6 Franks mother received a gratuity of £5 6s 11 d on 8 December 1917 and a further £8 10s 0d on 22 October 1919. Franks sister in law, the wife of his brother Walter received £1 1s 4d on 6 June 1918.7

Arthur was a bricklayer living with his wife and children. Florence was four months old. The household also had a lodger John Worsfold, Eliza's brother and a visitor Leona Porter.3 He died in 1895 in Hambledon, Surrey, England.4 He was buried on 28 August 1895 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England.5

     Eliza Worsfold was born in 1862 in Rudgwick, Sussex, England.1 She married Arthur Head in 1884 in Horsham, Sussex, England.2 She was the wife of Arthur Head in the 1891 census in Wonersh Common, Wonersh, Surrey, England. Arthur was a bricklayer living with his wife and children. Florence was four months old. The household also had a lodger John Worsfold, Eliza's brother and a visitor Leona Porter.3 Her husband Arthur died in 1895 in Hambledon, Surrey, England.4 She was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in Wonersh Common, Wonersh, Surrey, England. Eliza was a charwoman living with her children.5 She was listed as head of household in the 1911 census in Yieldhurst, Shamley Green, Surrey, England. Eliza was living with her two sons Frank and Harold, and a boarder Raymond John Tanner aged 26. He was an under gardener like her son Frank.6 Franks mother received a gratuity of £5 6s 11 d on 8 December 1917 and a further £8 10s 0d on 22 October 1919. Franks sister in law, the wife of his brother Walter received £1 1s 4d on 6 June 1918.7 She died in 1946 in Surrey, England.8 She was buried on 17 April 1946 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England.9

As a domestic nursemaid for Robert and Kate White and their family.4 She appeared in the 1911 census in The Old House, Bramley, Surrey, England. As a domestic parlourmaid for Katherine Gautier.5

He was baptised on 3 February 1889 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, his family lived in Stroud Common and his father was a bricklayer.2 He was the son of Arthur Head and Eliza Head in the 1891 census in Wonersh Common, Wonersh, Surrey, England.3 He was the son of Eliza Head in the 1901 census in Wonersh Common, Wonersh, Surrey, England. Walter was a house boy.4 He was listed as head of household in the 1911 census in Police Station, Weybridge, Surrey, England. Walter was a Police Constable. George Albert Smith was a fellow Police Constable from Bramshott lodging in the house with Walter.5 He married Ida A Fearn in 1915 in Farnham, Surrey, England.6 Walter, Ida and their daughter Kathleen were living in 27 Runnemede Road in Egham according to electoral lists in 1945.7 He died in 1960 in Surrey, England.8
